Mary is one of the two founding principals of BBP Solutions, where her passion for Pennsylvania inspires her work to solve their clientsʼ most challenging business problems and achieve long-term sustainability.
She has led economic development marketing initiatives, media industry tours, tourism programs, international trade missions promoting the advantages of doing business in Pennsylvania and the symbiotic relationship between its unique communities and the job-creating businesses that choose to locate there.
Mary served as the National Public Affairs Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, while simultaneously carrying out duties as the 5th District Public Affairs Officer covering 5 states. She worked directly with the U.S. Coast Guard to develop practices and procedures for internal communications, as well as managed
media and community relations.
David Heath is a passionate and motivated management and policy consultant, who has spearheaded and supported many innovative and strategic initiatives. His network is a resource for BBP’s clients. He has created a statewide public-private workforce development program and created a public safety task force that encompases 8 different state and national organizations to collaborate for the Pennsylvania Drone Association. David has successfully engaged legislators while drafting, amending, and passing public policy for the economic growth of the aviation community on behalf of the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania. He is a recognized top Pennsylvania aviation advocate.
Previously David worked as a Station Manager for Delta Air Lines and United Airlines for above and below wing operations. Under David’s guidance, his station was nationally recognized by Delta Air Lines for station performance, while maintaining stringent federal and state regulatory standards.
As a Principal of BBP Solutions, David assists clients with public outreach, advocacy, and organizational development opportunities. He has solidified strategic partnerships and facilitated collaborative programs, while elevating clients’ visibility on the local, state, national, and global scale. He was critical in the strategy
and success of the Airport Land Development Zone (ALDZ) legislation, which allows for economic development zones to be created at all Pennsylvania public use airports.
David understands the importance of communication, education, advocacy, and compromise for both public entities and private business. His passion is contagious and his leadership is reflected in client success.
A Penn State graduate, Sydney boasts a Masters's in Public Policy, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, and a minor in Sociology. Her expertise spans policy intricacies, quantitative and qualitative research, economics, public finance, and statistical analysis, with proficiency in R-Studio.
She has significantly contributed to BBP clientele in aviation, drone, and policy projects, including data collection for America250PA, drone case studies for PennDOT’s Economic Impact Study, and establishing the Legislative Initiatives Fund for the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania. Sydney is also adept in technology, coding, and crafting exceptional client websites and membership platforms. In addition to BBP, she chairs the Community Outreach and Communications Action Team of HEAL PA.
Sydney's past roles include positions at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and the Office of Advocacy and Reform. Here, she influenced trauma-informed policy in the criminal justice system, with her contributions reviewed by figures like Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Governor Tom Wolf. Additionally, as a research assistant at the Penn State Criminal Justice Research Center, she conducted pivotal research on prosecutorial decisions in Pennsylvania homicide cases, coding over 1,900 cases using empirical criminological research.
Debbie is one of the founding principals of BBP Solutions, utilizing her background in marketing and association management to pragmatically build, plan, and strategize with our clients, who today face unprecedented challenges in leading a distributed workforce of knowledge workers to achieve results that matter.
Range of Experience:
Debbie retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development as the Executive Director of Marketing. Here she led a team of professionals whose strategy and system for execution defined the possibilities for business growth, attraction and tourism spending in the Commonwealth. Her strategy and execution included big data, customer experience, mobile marketing, personalization, data analytics, real-time marketing, as well as targeted advertising.
Prior to joining the Commonwealth, Debbie was the Executive Director of the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy, a land trust non-profit organization. She created a vision, defined the strategy and executed a plan that resulted in creating a collaboration of federal, state and local partners as well as participation of local private contributors which resulted in conserving over 1,000 acres of land. Debbie has extensive leadership experience, boasting a robust career of executive-level positions such as Chief Information Office for Technology Portals, Inc., Vice President of the Pennsylvania Travel Council, Marketing Director for Ski Roundtop and Ski Liberty, as well as Branch Manager for World Savings.
Professional Affiliations:
Debbie served as the President of the Pennsylvania Drone Foundation and recently served as President of the Pennsylvania Drone Association. She has served on the York County Tourism Promotion Agency Board of Directors as well as the Blue Mountain Chapter of Safari Club International. She is a member of Trout Unlimited. She has been active in multiple Chambers of Commerce.
Madalyn Falcione is a Communications Associate at BBP Solutions. She is currently in her last year at East Carolina University where she will be receiving a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a Minor in Business Administration upon graduation in the Spring of 2023. She started with the BBP as a Digital Marketing & Business Development Intern in the Summer of 2022, leading into her role as a Communications Associate. Madalyn has much previous experience with past internships including marketing & sales, social media, public relations, and digital marketing. She is well-rounded with different industry experience including a luxury media company and a non-profit organization. She has contributed to many social campaigns for the Aviation Council of PA including membership push, a campaign for the councils Aviation Initiatives Fund, and frequent membership engagement on social media. Madalyn has also taken the role of our digital marketer, creating email campaigns and newsletters that engage the councils’ members as well as nonmembers.
Madalyn has been involved heavily with our clients, the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania, and the Chester Pike Corridor Improvement Partners, as well as the overall growth and social media presence of BBP Solutions. Assisting with digital marketing for the Aviation Council of PA along with increasing its social media following and creating content to share on all social platforms weekly. Madalyn has also been valuable to the council in creating an Internal Content Calendar, which consists of content and campaigns scheduling up to four months advance. Madalyn provides a new asset to BBP Solutions and what our company has to offer to clients.
Anna Gresh is the newest member of the BBP team. Anna is an upcoming senior at Miami University, where she is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Marketing. Her academic pursuits reflect a deep interest in understanding human behavior and developing effective communication strategies.
As a Marketing Intern at Aramark, Anna has gained hands-on experience in promoting dining hall events, coordinating campus communications, and brainstorming innovative ideas. This role has allowed her to apply her marketing skills in a practical setting, enhancing her ability to manage projects and engage with a diverse audience.
In addition to her academic and professional experiences, Anna has made a significant impact through her volunteer work as a “Buddy” with the South Hills Miracle League. In this role, she has supported disabled children and adults during baseball games, demonstrating her compassion, patience, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Anna’s combination of academic excellence, practical marketing experience, and dedication to community service highlights her strong work ethic, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact in her fields of interest.
